We are here to glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission.  To do so, we all must come together and use the gifts the Lord has given us to reach those in the community around us.  No matter what your ability is, you can use it for the kingdom of God.  God uses singers, teachers, electricians, bakers, artists, technicians, smiling faces...the list goes on... We would love to have you come along side of us as we
WORK together for the glory of Christ!

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer (work for Christ)?

It's so easy!  
First, you complete Step One.  
What's step one?  I'm glad you asked!
Step One is just you getting to know us and us getting to know you.  Stop by the Welcome Desk and let them know that you are interested in attending Step One so you can get connected with Vertical.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Again, just as it says in question one.  First, you need to go through Step One.  However, working with our children takes a few more steps.  Our children are our responsibility and we are accountable to both the Lord and their parents.  Because of that, we are going to ask you to also attend a Step Two class, as well as complete a background check.  ONLY church members may teach our kids, but we are always looking for helpers (OR you could become a member!)

How do I volunteer with music?

Can you sing? Play an instrument? Run a sound board?  If you said yes to any of these questions, then just let us know.  We will have our worship pastor connect with you and see if there is a spot open on either the worship or tech team where you can help!

How do I volunteer with teens?

The same process as it is to volunteer with our kids.  It is Vertical's privilege to help lead your children to Christ. We hold their safety as our highest priorty.
