How it all started...
In 2014, Pastor Jon and, now the Planting Pastor, Dustin started being led to plant a church in Gallipolis. In 2016 with the great support of family, friends, various churches, Jon, his wife Lindsay, and soon to be five children (one on the way), moved to Chicago to go through a 4 month church planting training center at Harvest Bible Chapel. After an extended stay while working for Harvest Bible Chapel, Jon and Lindsay moved back to Gallipolis to start Vertical Church Gallipolis of August 2017.
A core group of people came together, started meeting weekly on Sunday nights, Wednesday night prayer groups and various other discipleship groups. Vertical Church Gallipolis is built on the firm belief that God is faithful to answer the prayers of his people to glorify His name and built on discipleship.
October 7th 2018 Vertical Church Gallipolis launched its first Sunday morning service for the honor of God.

Where we are headed ...
Currently, we are in the midst of a building project.
The building, itself, is just a tool. The goal for this tool is to help us have more workable space to reach even more people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
The new building will be 4 floors (including the roof) and will be accessible by elevator for those who cannot climb stairs.
The 3rd floor will house offices and a multi-purpose room.
The 2nd floor will be a balcony, overlooking the sanctuary and will include additional seating. The 2nd floor will also have additional classroom for our Kids Ministry.
The Main Floor will house our new Worship Center and entryway. We are so excited to see how the Lord is going to use this facility to magnify His name! Come be a part!
